Cheerful sofa throws and blankets to see you through winter
Although we are now post-Christmas and firmly on our way towards the days getting longer, there's no denying that we are still very much in the midst of winter. With storms battering the UK and the weather continuing to stay bitterly cold, staying home is often preferable. Yet there are some easy changes inside your house that can be made to make things a little more cosy: lighting a lovely scented candle perhaps, or changing to a higher tog, down-filled winter duvet. But regardless of which you do, you are sure to feel much cosier and ready to snuggle down all evening long.

One of our favourite ways to do this is to purchase some lovely new cushions and sofa throws, as these have a transformative power over the room that should not be overlooked. In the living room, draping a knitted throw or throw blanket over the back of the sofa is a lovely way to add some decoration and freshen up the space. In the bedroom, a bed throw or bedspread will help keep the chill away whilst looking lovely.
